Last year, I went to Kasauli, a small town amidst the great Himalaya's. I got this opportunity to visit this holy land, and our trip was sponsored by my husband's office as an incentive of his good work. Our booking was done by his office in one of the best resorts in Kasauli. We reached there by our car via Chandigarh. On the way, I left no chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of the hills. The weather was awesome, and my children were trilled to experience the beauty of mother nature.

The journey was enjoyable and relaxing; we halted at an eating joint. I captured lots of pictures of nature's beauty and the pine trees all along the way were captivating and left me spellbound. On reaching our resort, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. It was the peak season, so there were lots of people in the resort, but we had prior booking. The view of landscapes was fascinating. I could spend hours of silence, and relax, but I had much more curiosity to explore the resort.

In the room, we first freshened up, had some snacks, and after a short stay, we were ready to move out and encounter the natural beauty. My children were too eager to go out to enjoy. They were anxious and were completely mesmerized to see the snow covered tall trees and the mountains.

We found people in the valley are simple, warm and good hosts. They are helpful and loving. I tried to talk to the locals, and I experienced their affection and love. They even guided me about the local sight seeing places of tourist interest.

I enjoyed the tasty food at the resort and the other restaurants. I also got a chance to experience the rain. We had a romantic time walking in the woods enjoying the rain. To feel the rain drops falling on tall trees, and dripping from the tree leaves and the aroma of fresh flowers and soil gave us a heavenly experience to cherish lifelong.
